Phoenix Visit

This weekend we had the opportunity to go to Phoenix for a quick visit. We were able to spend time with so many of our family, including Grandpa Eadelman and Auntie Faith. When we said good-bye to Grandpa he told us that next time we came, we had to bring the baby with us - so that he could see the baby, rather than just me :-). We had a great visit with all of you! We also were able to go to a wedding of one of Kris' childhood friends from Zaire. Congrats Mark & Heidi! It was so much fun!

4 Months Down!

It is hard to believe we are nearly half way through this pregnancy already! This picture was taken October 12ish. And for those of you that keep asking, because I haven't written it here yet, our official due date is March 12.

Smile for the Camera

Can you see the face?!? This is our ultrasound photo from Sept 5th. The baby was 13 weeks old when these were taken. That means the baby was only about 3 inches long!
In this second picture you can see the whole baby. He/She made us laugh as he/she would kick backwards and bounce their head against the other side . . twisting and turning already!

Colorado Adventure

Last weekend we had the opportunity to fly out to Colorado Springs for a conference with Navigators. This is a picture of our Detroit team that we met there. It was a fun weekend and we are excited to see how God will continue to stretch us all in the next year!

Surprise Visits!

We had a few other bonuses while we were in Colorado! God arranged a surprise visit with our friend Rachel and her son Wade. Considering we traveled from opposite sides of the world and landed in Colorado Springs for very different reasons, I would say we have a creative God! We were also able to visit with our friends Jim & Darlene Baker. And we were finally able to connect with my cousin, Brad, who I hadn't seen in 14 years! Of course, we did forget our camera for both of these visits.

Baby's First Photo

Here's our teddy bear! This picture was taken at 9 1/2 weeks (Aug 10). The baby was just about an inch long at that time. What an Amazing Creator God we serve! When we saw this child on the screen, waving his/her arms and legs, we were both in awe! Then the doctor turned on the sound so we could hear the heartbeat - the sound of life!

Two months along!

And so it begins! The baby's due date is March 12. This photo was taken on August 14ish. That means the baby was about two months along here. This little one has decided to make him or herself seen quite early!

This was in San Francisco last year on our first real vacation! We wanted to remind you all of what we look like as two . . . since we will soon become three.
